Description : The Knob-billed Duck is a large duck with a fleshy knob or comb on the bill of the male (adult bird length approximately 66 cm, weight 2.2 kg, wing 34 cm, bill 6.4 cm, tarsus 7 cm, tail 14.5 cm). The female has no knob on its bill. It feeds on grains, shoots, seeds of aquatic plants and rice.
