Description : The White-winged Duck is a large duck with a long body and short legs (adult bird length approximately 73.5 cm, weight 3 kg, wing 20.5 cm, bill 6 cm, tarsus 5.7 cm, tail 15 cm). It has a white patch on the upper coverts of its wing-shoulder. The male has a white head and neck speckled with black spots.
