Description : The Grey-headed Lapwing is a sleek, brown wader with long yellow legs (adult bird length approximately 37 cm, weight 284 g, wing 24 cm, bill 3.7 cm, tarsus 7.7 cm, tail 10 cm). It looks brown from above and white from below except for a few details. Its head, neck, throat and upper-breast are grey. It feeds on insects, worms and molluscs. It breeds in May-June.
