Description : The Pallid Harrier is a slim and lightweight raptor whose male is different from the female (adult bird length approximately 48 cm, weight 300 g, wing 35 cm, bill 2.6 cm, tarsus 7.3 cm, tail 23 cm). The male looks pale grey from above and almost white from below. It feeds on grasshoppers, skinks, lizards, frogs, rats and small birds. It also catches flying fish on migration.
