Description : The Cotton Pygmy Goose is a small duck with a stubby goose-like bill (adult bird length approximately33.5 cm, weight 250 g, wing 15.5 cm, bill 2.8 cm, tarsus 2.4 cm, tail 7.3 cm). The male has a blackish-brown crown and back. Its face, neck and underparts are white. The female is duller and browner. It feeds on shoots and seeds of aquatic plants. It occasionally takes crustaceans, worms, insects and their larvae
