Description : The Little Stint is a tiny, grey shorebird that acquires a rufous face in the summer (adult bird length approximately 14 cm, weight 20 g, wing 10 cm, bill 1.8 cm, tarsus 2 cm, tail 3.8 cm). In the winter, it looks greyish-brown from above and white from below. It has a white supercilium and grey patch on the sides of its breast. It feeds chiefly on invertebrates.
