Description : The Lesser Cuckoo is a slaty-grey bird except for some females that are rufous (adult bird length approximately 25 cm, weight 50 g, wing 15 cm, bill 2.5 cm, tarsus 1.8 cm, tail 13 cm). The male looks uniform slaty-grey from above. The female lays her eggs in the nests of small birds, such as warblers, babblers. It feeds on caterpillars and soft insects.
