Description : The Malaysian Hawk-Cuckoo is a grey bird with a banded tail (adult bird length approximately 29 cm, wing 18 cm, bill 2 cm, tarsus 2.4 cm, tail 14 cm). It looks slaty-grey from above and rufous from below. The bill is yellow with a black or greenish-black tip. The male and the female look alike. It feeds on insects, caterpillars, and fruits like figs and berries.
