Description : Snowy-browed Flycatcher is a slaty-blue or dark olive-brown tiny bird with prominent white or buff-orange supercilium (length 11 cm, weight 9 g, wing 6 cm, bill 1.2 cm, tarsus 2 cm, tail 4 cm approximately). The male looks slaty-blue from above and rufous-orange from below. It has rufous-brown wings, black chin, orange-rufous throat and breast, dusky flanks and white at the base of the tail. It has a broad white supercilium. The female looks dark olive-brown from above. It has orange-buff supercilium and eye-ring, and slight rufous panel on the wings. It breeds in April-June. It feeds mainly on dipterous insects and occasionally on earthworms.
