Description : Ashy Drongo is a long-tailed slaty-black bird.Length 30 cm,weight 40 cm,wing 14 cm,bill 2.7 cm,tail 9 cm.Looks glossy slaty-black from above and
dark grey in below.It has a blue-grey gloss to the sides of its neck and breast,brownish-grey in upper sides with a bluish gloss and mid-grey lower sides. The ashy drongo is a bird species with short legs that typically perches in an upright position on high tree branches. They are insectivores that hunt by making aerial sallies or occasionally by gleaning from tree trunks. They can be found alone, in pairs, or small groups, and during migration, they often fly in small flocks. The ashy drongo breeds between May and June, during which they lay a clutch of three to four reddish or brown eggs in a loosely-built cup nest located in a tree.
