Description : Burmese Shrike is a small chestnut backed bird with a grey crown,long tail and hooked bill.The male looks chestnut from above and white from below having a dark colored tail with white sides.The female has a whitish forehead and a paler chestnut mantle.Both sexes have reddish-brown irises,a horny-brown bill with a hooked black tip and dark slaty legs and feet.The juvenile has a buff bars on its upperparts and brown bars on its underparts.
