Description : The Little Spiderhunter is a small olive passerine with yellow underparts and an exceptional long bill (length 16 cm, weight 13 g, wing 6.8 cm, bill 3.4 cm, tarsus 1.5 cm, tail 4 cm approximately). Its entire upperparts are plain olive. The short dark brown tail has a white tip. It has greyish cheeks, a broken white eye ring and white lores with a darker moustacial stripe. The throat is white and the rest of the underparts are pale yellow. It feeds on nectar, insects and spiders. It calls frequently while foraging. It breeds in May-August.
