Description : The Plain Flowerpecker is a tiny dull brown passerine of the treetops with a dark bill (length 9 cm, weight 7.5 g, wing 4.8 cm, tarsus 1.3 cm, tail 2.6 cm approximately). The upperparts are dull olive-brown to olive-green with a darker tail. A narrow supercilium and all of the underparts are greyish-white, more olive on the breast and yellowish white on the vent and undertail-coverts. It has brown irises, a thin dark plumbeous-grey bill, plumbeous legs and feet and grey soles. It feeds on berries, nectar, insects and spiders. It breeds in March-August.
