Description : Palla's Fish Eagle is a dark brown raptor with a prominent white sub-terminal band to its black tail.Their male slightly smaller than female and looks dark brown from above and rufous brown from below.Its bill is dark slaty-black,yellow irises and dull yellow legs and feet.The male and female look alike and juveniles has a paler grey-brown body. The primary diet consists of large freshwater fish. However, the Pallas's fish eagle displays a more diverse diet, similar to other sea eagles, and opportunistically feeds on various food sources. This includes birds, particularly water birds, as well as mammals like leporids and rodents, frogs, reptiles such as snakes and terrapins, insects (including wasp larvae), and carrion.
