Description : Northern Goshawk is a powerful grey-brown raptor with a short rounded wings and a longish tail.Male is smaller than female.Their upperparts:Grey brown and underparts:fine dark bars.It has prominent grey crown,nape and dark slaty-bill,has lemon or golden-yellow to red irises and yellow legs and feet.Juvenile appear as brown above and buff underparts with heavy dark streaks. The northern goshawk is a solitary or pair-dwelling bird species known for its territorial behavior. They vigorously defend their home ranges through display flights and, if necessary, physical fights.
