Description : Male bird ( Asian Blue Quail) reddish brown colored and black stripe present (adult bird length approximately 14cm. & weight 50 gm) neck region has whitish black spot. Female bird has reddish forehead and breast contains black stripe. In their natural habitat, king quails primarily consume small bugs, seeds, and a variety of grasses based on availability. In aviculture, it is important to provide a diverse diet to all birds, including king quails, which should include a variety of seeds, fruits, and vegetables. During the breeding season, hens should be given calcium-rich food sources like shell grit to prevent egg binding. Newly hatched chicks require a diet of high-protein chick crumb mixed with water, and additional protein can be provided through mealworms and various insects.
