Description : The Asian Brown Flycatcher is a grey-brown passerine (length 14 cm, weight 11.5 g, wing 7 cm, bill 1.4 cm, tarsus 1.4 cm, tail 5 cm). Its back looks ashy-brown, and its breast and flanks light-grey. It has large, dark brown irises and white eye-ring. Its bill is horny-brown with yellow or cream at the base of the lower mandible, and its mouth is pale yellow. It has hornybrown legs, feet and claws. Its primary projection and tail are relatively short. The male and the female look alike. It feeds mostly on the dipterous insects. It breeds in April-July.
