Description : The White-browed Scimitar Babbler is an olive-brown passerine with a prominent white supercilium and yellow bill (length 22 cm, weight 40 g, wing 10 cm, bill 3.2 cm, tarsus 3.7 cm, tail 11 cm). The back, wings and rounded tail are warm olive-brown. Its crown is slate-grey, separated by a long white supercilium from black lores and ear-coverts. The sides of the breast extending down to the vent are chestnut, and the throat, breast and belly are white. It has yellow irises and a yellow down-curved bill with a dusky base to the culmen. The male and the female look alike except for their legs and feet which are grey-brown in the male and bluish-slaty in the female. It feeds on insects, seeds and berries. It breeds in March-June
