Bristled Grassbird Did you see this animal?

Scientific Name : Chaetornis striata
Family : Locustellidae
Order : Passeriformes
Class : Aves
Phylum : Chordata
Habitat : Grasslands

Description : Bristled Grassbird has orange brown upperbody with distinct streak on the head region and wings. Their tail is long and broad and finely streaked with dark brown. Bill is black. This bird primarily inhabits tall grass-covered marshlands as its preferred habitat. These birds are elusive and challenging to spot, often briefly seen at the top of a grass clump before swiftly diving back into hiding within the grass clumps. They actively forage for insect prey in this concealed environment.
Male bristled grassbirds engage in unique displays by rising above the grass, reaching a height of about a meter or so, and performing zig-zag movements in the air before gracefully descending back down, a behavior often referred to as parachuting. They also vocalize while in flight, producing a distinct rising and falling call of "chwee-chew."
The breeding season for the bristled grassbird spans from May to September. Their nests are constructed as spherical balls made of grass, featuring an opening at the top. These nests are strategically placed near the base of a grass clump. The typical clutch size consists of four to five eggs, believed to be incubated solely by the female. The eggs themselves are white with purplish red speckles, adding to their visual appeal.
