Description : The Greenish Warbler is a small, greenish-brown leaf warbler with a single wing bar (adult bird length approximately 10 cm, weight 9 g, wing 6 cm, bill 1.3 cm, tarsus 2 cm, tail 5 cm). The upperparts are olive green, brighter in fresh plumage, with a single narrow whiteish wing-bar, in some birds a second very small wing bar is visible. It has a long creamy white supercilium, a dark eye stripe and olive cheeks. The underparts are dull off-white, washed with some grey on the flanks, and in fresh plumage suffused with yellowish. Its irises are hazel-brown, legs and feet are yellowishbrown, and the bill is dark brown with yellow to orange at the base of the lower mandible. It feeds mainly on insects, especially caterpillars and small beetles. It breeds in the Himalayas and in Siberia in May-August.
