Description : Black‑browed Reed-warbler are small brown birds with a characteristic stipes of dark brown and white just above the eyes. Their upperbody and wings are brown with black edges on the long wing feathers. The underside is whitish brown. The bird dedicates its time to searching for food near the ground within undisturbed reed beds. Similar to numerous other wetland birds, it faces conservation challenges due to the loss of its habitat caused by the destruction of native marsh vegetation. This habitat loss is primarily due to the conversion of the marshes into rice paddies and fishponds.
