Description : The Black Stork is a large, glossy black waterbird with a long neck and red bill (adult bird length approximately 98 cm, weight 3.2 kg, wing 56.2 cm, bill 17.5 cm, tarsus 19 cm, tail 22 cm). It looks black highly glossed with green, bronze and purple from above. Its bare facial skin is deep red. It feeds on insects, crustaceans, fish, frogs, small rodents and birds.
