Description : The Black-necked Stork is a very tall black and white wading bird with a long black bill (adult bird length approximately 135 cm, wing 60 cm, bill 31 cm, tarsus 32 cm, tail 27 cm). It looks black-and-white from above and white from below. It has a black head and bill. The male and the female look alike except for the colour of the irises, which in the male is brown and yellow in the female.
