Description : The Yellow-footed Green Pigeon is a large green pigeon with purple shoulder patches and yellow feet (adult bird length approximately 33 cm, wing 19 cm, bill 2 cm, tarsus 2.5 cm, tail 11.5 cm). It has a pale greenish-yellow forehead, a grey cap, a broad olive-yellow band around the neck. The bill is pale greenish, and the legs and feet are bright yellow. It feeds on fruits such as berries and figs. The early morning, they are often seen sunning on the tops of emergent trees in dense forest areas.
