Description : The green woodpecker is a medium-sized bird with green upperparts, yellowish rump, and a dark, plain tail. It has a streaked throat and scaly whitish underparts. The bird also has white supercilia and a white and black moustache. The male has a red crown, while the female has a blackish one. Additionally, it has a small, dark bill.
