Description : Great Hornbill is a large pied bird with a horn shaped golden-yellow casque on the bill.Male:above has a golden-yellow casque on the down curved bill,yellow-white nape,neck and upper breast.Its tail is white with a broad balck sub-terminal band along with yellow bill and casque.The female is distinguished from its male by the red circumorbital skin. It plays a significant role in the dispersal of numerous forest tree species. Additionally, they have a varied diet that includes small mammals, birds, small reptiles, and insects.
