Description : Indian Pitta is a small green buff bird with a conspicuous red belly and vent which looks green from its upperparts.Its lowerparts are tircolored which has brown iris,stout bill and strong pinkish flesh colored legs and feet.Both sexes look alike and the juvenile dark green above and duller below.
