Description : The Eurasian Stone-curlew is a long-legged brown bird with a large yellow eye (adult bird length approximately 41 cm, wing 21 cm, bill 4.3 cm, tarsus 8.1 cm, tail 10 cm). It looks sandy-brown from above and lighter sandy-brown from below. It feeds on insects, worms, slugs, small reptiles and rodents. It breeds in February-August.
