Description : The White-browed Wagtail is a sleek, black and white passerine with a long tail and very prominent white supercilium (length 21 cm, weight 31 g, wing 9.5 cm, bill 2 cm, tarsus 2.7 cm, tail 9.8 cm approximately). The male is nearly all black from above except for a broad white band on the wings and white fringes to the flight feathers and edge of the tail. It has a long white supercilium starting from the base of the bill. Its throat and breast are black, and the rest of its underparts are white. It feeds on locusts, beetles, dragonflies, snails and seeds. While foraging it wags its tail up and down. It breeds in March-May and sings in January-October.
