Description : The Spot-billed Pelican is a large greyish waterbird with a large pouched bill and blue spots on the upper mandible (adult bird length approximately 152 cm, weight 5 kg, wing 55 cm, bill 33 cm, tarsus 8.7 cm, tail 18.2 cm). In the breeding season, it has a grey head, neck and upperparts with black wing tips. The long bill is pinkish. The non-breeding adult is entirely greyish-white with dull blue-grey facial skin. It mainly feeds on fish and crustaceans
