Description : The Great White Pelican is a large white waterbird with a huge pouched bill and pinkish skin around the eyes (adult bird length approximately 183 cm, weight 11 kg, wing 70 cm, bill 42 cm, tarsus 13.5 cm, tail 20 cm). It has a large yellow pouch hanging from the lower mandible. It feeds on fish and crustaceans.
