Description : The Little Bunting is a small brown streaked passerine with chestnut cheeks and crown stripes (length 14 cm, weight 13.5 g, wing 7 cm, bill 1.2 cm, tarsus 2 cm, tail 5.7 cm approximately). The adult is grey-brown above with dark brown streaks, indistinct pale wing-bars on the median and greater-coverts, and white outer tail feathers. In breeding plumage it has a chestnut crownstripe, supercilium, lores, chin and ear-coverts; prominent black lateral crown stripes, and a pale eye-ring. The rest of the underpars are whitish-buff, finely streaked with blackish on the breast and flanks. It forages in trees and bushes, feeding on insects and seed. It breeds in Siberia in June-July and nests on the ground in a grass tussock
