Description : The Crested Treeswift is a small, sleek long-winged bird with a prominent crest (adult bird length approximately 23 cm, wing 15 cm, bill 1.2 cm, tarsus 0.8 cm, tail 12.2 cm). The male looks blue-grey from above and pale grey from below. It has a prominent dark green-blue crest above the bill, dull orange ear-coverts, glossy blue-black wings and a long forked tail. It usually breeds in December-July.
