Description : Ashy‑crowned Sparrow-lark is a small terrestrial brown bird with a grey crown.The male and the female looks different.The male is sandy brown above with dark centered wing feathers along with a grey crown and nape.On the contrary the female looks entirely sandy-brown above and below with some fine streaking above.It has reddish-brown or yellowish-brown irises,pale horn-grey bill and brownish-flesh legs and feet.The juvenile resembles the female.
