Description : Great Tit is a small grey passerine bird with a black head which looks grey from above and black-and-white from below.Its irises are dark brown,black stubby bill and plumbeous legs and feet are evident in them.Both sexes look alike and the juvenile has brownish-black throat and yellowish-white underparts. In the summer, great tits primarily adopt an insectivorous diet, nourishing themselves with insects and spiders that they capture through foliage gleaning. Among the larger invertebrate prey they consume are cockroaches, grasshoppers, crickets, lacewings, earwigs, bugs (Hemiptera), ants, flies (Diptera), caddis flies, beetles, scorpion flies, harvestmen, bees, wasps, as well as snails and woodlice.[10] When it's breeding season, the tits have a preference for providing their young with protein-rich caterpillars
