Description : A pair of tail is present in blue nawab butterfly.Upperside of the wings is dark brown and has a rugged white median band and few white subterminal crescent-shaped spots on the hindwing.Underside of the wings is silvery colored with a median white and pale brown area. Underside also presents medium-sized crescent shaped red spots and crescent shaped light brown spots with dark margins spots. Female butterfly is larger in size compared to that of male, with a broader and longer tail.
