Description : The butterfly has mainly white upper wings with black edges on the forewing and a few black spots and lines. The hindwing also has black spots and bands on a white background. The underside is primarily white with various black markings on both forewings and hindwings. The male and female are similar, but the female has broader black markings. Both have black antennae, and the head, thorax, and abdomen are black with some white markings. On the underside, the palpi, thorax, and abdomen are white, with the abdomen having broad white bars on the sides.
