Description : The male butterfly has a pale purplish upper side with a bluish shade. The forewing has a slender black anteciliary line, and the hindwing has two subterminal black spots with white and ochraceous edges. The underside is silver-grey with brown spots outlined in white. The female has a dark brown upper side with blue areas on both wings. The hindwing has a series of white spots and a black anteciliary line. The underside markings are similar to the male, with additional metallic bluish-green scaling on the tornal spots. Both genders have dark brown antennae, head, thorax, and abdomen, while the underside of the palpi, thorax, and abdomen is white.
