Description : Male:

Upper side: Silvery light blue with a satiny sheen in certain lights. Forewing has fuscous black apical half of costa and terminal margin, bounded outwardly by a faint anteciliary black line. Hindwing shows fuscous black costa and narrower termen, with a diffuse subterminal series of darker spots.
Underside: Brownish grey. Both wings have black spots, lunules, and series of spots with narrow white edging. Posterior spots may be paired. Additional lines of dusky spots and anteciliary black lines present. Cilia whitey brown.
Antennae, head, thorax, and abdomen dark brown. Thorax and abdomen may have light blue pubescence on the upper side. Beneath: palpi, thorax, and abdomen white.
Female:

Upper side: Brownish black with slightly suffused light blue basal halves. Anteciliary black lines on both wings, and faint subterminal series of spots on hindwing.
Underside: Similar but darker ground color, larger and clearer markings. Antennae, head, thorax, and abdomen as in male, no blue pubescence on upper side.
