Description : Male: Dark brown upperside with short black transverse lines in the cell, along with discal and post-discal series of obscure dusky lunular markings. Hindwing has a broad terminal blue band that doesn't reach the wing's apex. Underside is dull yellowish with a green suffusion at the base of the hindwing, and the dark markings are more distinct.

Female: Pale brown upperside with larger dark markings than the male. Dull whitish marks appear between the discal and post-discal dark markings on the forewing, and no terminal blue band on the hindwing. Underside is yellowish brown with greenish-blue overlay on the hindwing, except along the terminal margin. Markings are more clearly defined, with a diffuse lilac spot at the apex of the forewing.
