Description : The Redspot Duke butterfly has brown colored antennae and an overall brown body, greenish on the upperside but greyish beneath. The upperside of the wings is dark metallic green color with a median dark band. The uppeerside of forewing has a red spot at its base. The underside of the wings is green suffused with grey, with a series of small dark spots and black bordered red spots. The female is paler than the male.
