Description : Chestnut streaked sailer butterfly has wings of black color.In male butterflies, three white bands appear on the upperside of which the middle one is broader in size, and these bands end in individual middle sized spots.Subterminal pale lines are present on the hindwing.Marking on the underside of the wings is ill-defined but are recognized by transverse series of large dark brown spots.In case of the female butterfly, the spots and the bands are broader in size than in the male.
