Description : The Oriental Commander is orange above but bluish-white beneath. Its antennae are black. The upperside of the forewings has a brown base with a broad black line at the edges and a central black band with white spots. The black areas may present metallic blue tints. The upperside of the hindwings is similar to the forewings. The underside of both wings is whitish-grey with small black lines, and has a lateral line of crescent-shaped black dots and a more external line of orange-red dots, with a crenate black margin.
