Description : Both male and female of this butterfly species share common characteristics. The sub-terminal region of the hindwing in both sexes is adorned with a vibrant yellowish-red color, featuring a series of four distinct black spots. The female's upper side exhibits a light-red hue and displays an extended oblique band on the forewing. On the underside of both genders, the discal dark line appears straighter, while on the hindwing, it shows a slight angle but does not extend towards the line of ocelli. These butterflies showcase a captivating blend of colors and patterns, making them a fascinating sight to behold.
