Description : The Common leopard butterfly has a yellowish body above but greyish-white beneath, with ochreous-brown colored antennae. The upperside of the forewings wings has black spots all over it on a tawny base except the basal area. The hindwings are similar to the forewings, but have basal black zigzag lines. The underside of the wings is paler, but the markings are similar to those of the upperside.
