Description : The Powdered Baron butterfly is dark brown or black on the upperside of the wings, with a few small darker stripes delimiting paler areas. The basalpart of all wings, though, is grey-blue. On the underside, though wings are yellow brown with some short dark lines. Females are overall paler than males, and their underside is yellow-brown with two dark lines. These butterflies have a wingspan of approximately 50–70 millimeters (2.0–2.8 inches). They are commonly found in small clearings, glades, and trails within primary rainforests, typically at elevations ranging from sea level up to 1,000 meters (3,281 feet).
