Description : The Peacock Pansy butterfly displays an orange-yellow upper wing surface. The forewing exhibits black short lines on its front part and both wings feature zigzag brown marginal lines. Each wing has two ocelli of different colors. On the underside, the wings appear paler in orange or faint brown, with black or brown zigzag patterns and three small blue ocelli on each wing. The adult butterfly's wingspan measures 54–62 mm (2.1–2.4 inches).
