Description : Danaid eggfly has dark brown colored body and antennae. In case of male butterfly, the upperside of the wings are brownish black colored and is edged with white small spots.Two white spots are found on forewing and one on hindwing.Underside of forewing is red-brown with a broad white area and white spots scattered across it.In case of the hindwing,the color is chestnut red with spots and bars of white and black color.Female are in different forms, but sometimes appear orange instead of black.
