Description : . It has a wingspan ranging from 60 to 85 millimeters. The male and female have distinct appearances.

The male's upper wings are brown, with a darker brown basal half and post-discal band. There are two white spots at the base of interspace 3 and a series of slender white lines above them in interspaces 4, 5, and 6. Additionally, there are two or more pre-apical white dots. The hindwings feature a broad pale blue terminal band that gradually narrows towards the apex, followed by a narrow white band and a slender dark marginal line. On the underside, the wings are pale yellowish-brown, with markings similar to those on the upperside. Both wings display transverse lines and loops in the cell, and the terminal blue border of the hindwing is narrower than on the upperside. The terminal margin of the forewing is pale lilac.

The female is larger than the male and has paler brown wings with a more rounded shape. The forewing exhibits an oblique discal white band from the costa to near the apex of vein 1, along with two subapical white spots on the costa. Unlike the male, the female's hindwing lacks a terminal blue band. On the underside, the markings are similar to those on the upperside, with a broadly lilac terminal border on both wings. The base and dorsal area of the hindwing appear greenish.

Overall, the White-edged Blue Baron is a fascinating butterfly species with distinct sexual dimorphism and beautiful markings on its wings.
