Scientific Name : Zeltus amasa
Family : Lycaenidae
Order : Lepidoptera
Class : Insecta
Phylum : Arthropoda
Habitat : Forest,Bushes

Description : The Fluffy Tit is darkblue on its upperside, with the basal part white. The hindwings may be half blue-half white or almost entirely white. The underside of the forewings is beige-brown, and the hindwings are mostly white with a central black spot and lateral brown spots. The Fluffy Tit has two pairs of distinct long, fluffy tails. The genus is petite, boasting a wingspan of 28–32 millimeters. Its distinguishing feature is a lengthy, fluffy tail (13 mm in version 1 and 7 mm in version 2) that facilitates easy identification. Male Zeltus sport blackish forewings with a pale blue basal area, while females exhibit dark brown forewings. In males, the hindwings are pale blue with a black apex. Notably, Zeltus amasa employs false eyes, legs, and antennae on its hindwing to divert attention from its true head, a strategy it employs when under attack to unexpectedly change its flight direction.
